
Anup Sridhar, former Indian shuttler and Arjuna awardee, has resigned as Singapore's singles badminton coach after one year, returning to India due to a family medical emergency. Hired in December 2024 on a two-year contract, he coached top Singaporean players including former world champion Loh Kean Yew. Anup highlighted the professional and process-based approach of Singapore's badminton system and plans to focus on initiatives at his academy in Bengaluru.
