Thakur took four wickets early on, reducing Chattisgarh to 10 for 4, and they were eventually all out for 142. Shams Mulani also contributed with five wickets. Mumbai chased down the target comfortably in 24 overs, with Angkrish Raghuvanshi scoring an unbeaten 68. Mumbai consolidated their top position in Group C with this win.
