Nishu and Yash Win Top Titles at 2026 IIS Dangal Championship in Hisar

The 2026 IIS Dangal Championship, organized by the Inspire Institute of Sport in Hisar, featured over 300 entries and around 240 participants across nine categories. U23 World Championship bronze medallist Nishu won gold in the 53 kg category, while Yash secured the 74 kg freestyle title representing Delhi. Both received prize money, with Nishu awarded Rs 31,000 and Yash Rs 51,000. The event saw nearly 20% of participants from outside Haryana, indicating its expanding reach.
