
Indian shuttler Aakarshi Kashyap defeated Chinese Taipei's Lee Yu-Hsuan 21-10, 21-15 in the qualifiers to enter the women's singles main draw at the German Open Super 300 badminton tournament. Kashyap will next face another Chinese Taipei player, Huang Yu-Hsun. Other Indian participants include veteran Kidambi Srikanth and World Junior Championships silver medallist Tanvi Sharma in the USD 250,000 event held in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
