Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu made history by becoming the first Sri Lankan woman to play 150 T20 International matches. She achieved this milestone during the fourth T20I against India in Thiruvananthapuram on December 28, 2025. Athapaththu has scored 3507 runs and taken 63 wickets in her T20I career. India currently leads the five-match series against Sri Lanka 4-0.
