
The 21st Tata Mumbai Marathon saw a record 70,065 participants, including over 65,400 on-site runners and 3,700 virtual entrants. Ethiopian athletes Tadu Abate Deme and Yeshi Kalayu Chekole won the elite men's and women's races, respectively. Indian orthopaedic surgeon Kartik Karkera was the fastest Indian male runner. The event included diverse categories and the Coastal Road route. Medical teams treated 2,400 runners, with 27 hospitalizations but no fatalities reported.
