This marks his second consecutive gold in the 2026 UWW Ranking Series, following his Zagreb Open win. Kalkal defeated Azerbaijan's Rashid Babazade 10-0 in the final. India sent a 48-member team, with other wrestlers reaching bronze medal bouts but not securing medals.
