BCCI Confirms India-Afghanistan Test and ODI Series in June 2026

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed a multi-format home series against Afghanistan in June 2026, featuring a one-off Test from June 6-10 in New Chandigarh and a three-match ODI series across Dharamshala, Lucknow, and Chennai. Shubman Gill will captain the Test side, while veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to return for the ODIs, focusing on preparation for the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup. This series follows the 2026 IPL and precedes a white-ball tour of England starting in July.
