Zimbabwe Appoints Courtney Walsh as Bowling Consultant Ahead of T20 World Cup 2026

Zimbabwe Cricket has appointed former West Indies fast bowler Courtney Walsh as the bowling consultant for their men's team ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. Walsh, who has extensive international playing and coaching experience, has already begun working with the squad. Zimbabwe, drawn in Group B with Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Oman, aims to leverage Walsh's expertise to enhance their bowling attack and improve their chances of advancing to the Super Eight stage. Zimbabwe Cricket's managing director Givemore Makoni highlighted Walsh's knowledge and mentoring skills as key assets for the team's preparation.
