Ismael Saibari Scores Fastest Goal of FIFA World Cup 2026 Against Scotland
Morocco midfielder Ismael Saibari scored the fastest goal of the FIFA World Cup 2026, netting within 70 seconds against Scotland in a Group C match. This goal surpassed the previous tournament record and marked Saibari's second goal of the competition. He also became the second African player to score in his first two World Cup appearances. While this is the fastest goal of the current edition, the all-time World Cup fastest goal remains Turkey's Hakan Sukur's 11-second strike in 2002.
