Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has expressed concerns that One Day International (ODI) cricket in India may lose its relevance and feel optional once star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retire. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ashwin noted that while Test cricket might retain its audience, the future of 50-over matches after the 2027 World Cup is uncertain. He also mentioned finding it more engaging to follow T20 matches than ODIs.
