Erigaisi defeated Carlsen in a tense endgame and also beat Nodirbek Abdusattorov, drawing other games to reach 10 points from 13. Carlsen expressed frustration, slamming the table after a time-scramble loss. Erigaisi shares the lead with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Fabiano Caruana.
