Russian athletes will participate as neutral athletes in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has confirmed. This decision stands regardless of whether the war in Ukraine concludes before the Games. Competitors will not be allowed to use their national flag, anthem, or official country symbols during the event, scheduled for February 6-22, 2026, in Italy.
