The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rejected Sri Lanka Cricket's (SLC) request for additional charity T20 matches in December to aid cyclone recovery. Sri Lanka had hoped to raise funds for Cyclone Ditwah, which caused significant damage and deaths. SLC will instead allocate proceeds from upcoming T20Is against Pakistan for relief efforts. Meanwhile, SLC is proceeding with infrastructure upgrades at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Ground for the men's T20 World Cup.
