Indian cricketers Tilak Varma and Washington Sundar have joined the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru to undergo rehabilitation ahead of the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup starting February 7. Varma, who had emergency surgery for testicular torsion in early January, is expected to miss the first three T20I matches against New Zealand but may return for later games. Washington Sundar is sidelined due to a left rib injury. Shreyas Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi have been named as replacements for the initial matches. The team aims to have all players fit before the tournament.
