Indian Railways won the 72nd Senior Men's National Kabaddi Championship by defeating Maharashtra 49-31 in the final at Vadodara. Led by Sunil Kumar, Railways prevailed over 29 teams across 54 matches, including semifinal wins against Chandigarh. Maharashtra, led by Aslam Inamdar, reached the final after beating Uttar Pradesh. Railways showcased a strong all-round performance, with Pankaj Mohite scoring 12 raid points and Ashu Malik contributing eight, supported by 14 tackle points from their defense to secure an 18-point victory.
