The year 2026 is set to host a multitude of major sporting events globally and in India. These include the FIFA World Cup, ICC Men's and Women's T20 World Cups, Asian Games, Winter Olympics, Winter Paralympics, and Commonwealth Games. India will also host the Badminton World Championships in New Delhi and the 10th edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, co-hosted with Sri Lanka, featuring 20 teams. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup will take place in England with 12 teams.
