Afghanistan to Host Sri Lanka for White-Ball Cricket Series in UAE

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced a white-ball series against Sri Lanka from March 13 to 25 in the UAE, featuring three T20Is in Sharjah followed by three ODIs in Dubai. This marks the first time Afghanistan will host Sri Lanka in a bilateral series. Both boards emphasized the series' importance for strengthening ties and preparing teams for upcoming ICC and ACC events. Previously, Sri Lanka won the last bilateral series held in early 2024 in Sri Lanka.
