
India is exploring the return of Formula 1 racing at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, with the sports ministry and the Adani Group showing interest. Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok welcomed these developments but noted that logistical, financial, and calendar challenges remain. He estimated that the earliest India could host an F1 race again might be around 2029-2030, given existing commitments and the need for infrastructure upgrades.
