Khelo India Winter Games 2026 Highlights Emerging Indian Winter Sports Talent

The 6th Khelo India Winter Games held from February 23 to 26 in Gulmarg showcased a rising generation of Indian winter sports athletes. Among them, 17-year-old Bengaluru native Jiah Aryan stood out, winning two bronze medals in Alpine skiing events. Trained initially at the Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports and later in Italy, Jiah exemplifies growing talent supported by initiatives like the Reliance Foundation, which offers comprehensive athlete support including physiotherapy and sports psychology.
