
India's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has been signed by the Manchester Super Giants for the 2026 women's The Hundred competition. Mandhana, a left-handed batter with prior experience in the tournament playing for Southern Brave, joins a squad featuring former Australian captain Meg Lanning and England spinner Sophie Ecclestone. The 2026 edition starts on July 21, shortly after the women's T20 World Cup, with the Super Giants undergoing changes following new ownership. The men's and women's teams will be coached by Justin Langer and Matthew Mott, respectively.
