The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking to sell two new franchises for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at an annual fee of 1.3 billion Pakistani rupees each. The auction is scheduled for January 8, with around 12 parties, including foreign investors, submitting initial bids. The PCB is also guaranteeing franchises a minimum distribution of 850 million Pakistani rupees from central revenue for five editions to boost investor confidence. The former owners of the Multan Sultans have bid for new teams, while the Multan franchise's future ownership remains unclear.
