Rahul Dravid and Ravichandran Ashwin Join Consortium to Acquire Glasgow ETPL Franchise

Former Indian cricketers Rahul Dravid and Ravichandran Ashwin are part of an Indian consortium that has agreed to acquire the Glasgow-based franchise in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL), a six-team tournament set to begin this summer. Ashwin, who retired from international cricket in December 2024, may also play in the league. The ETPL has sold other franchises in Amsterdam, Belfast, and Edinburgh to investors from Australia and New Zealand, while a South African group led by former Proteas players is set to acquire the Rotterdam franchise. The Dublin franchise remains unsold with multiple interested parties.
