
The 2028 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand from October 21 to November 19, marking Australia's second time and New Zealand's first hosting of the event. The tournament will feature 20 teams, with 12 already qualified based on the 2026 Super 8s and rankings. The remaining eight spots will be decided through regional qualifiers starting mid-2026. Matches are expected at iconic venues including Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Cricket Ground, Adelaide Oval, Optus Stadium, Eden Park, Sky Stadium, and Hagley Oval. Dame Therese Walsh serves as Tournament Chair overseeing final venue decisions.
