Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have written to the All India Football Federation (AIFF) seeking clarity on immediate and long-term plans for the domestic competition. The 2025-26 season is on hold due to Master Rights Agreement renewal disputes, with a tender for commercial rights failing to attract bidders. Clubs, represented by Mohun Bagan Super Giant CEO Vinay Chopra, previously proposed perpetual ownership, which the AIFF General Body did not approve. They requested a briefing on the AIFF's roadmap before discussing short-term plans.
