Two-time former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was involved in a car crash in Nigeria that killed two of his friends and team members. Joshua sustained minor injuries and is stable in a hospital. Preliminary investigations by Nigerian police suggest the accident may have been caused by a tyre blowout due to excessive speed, though other theories are being investigated. The crash occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Nigeria's President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has spoken to Joshua.
