Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batter G Kamalini has been ruled out of the remainder of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 season due to injury after playing five matches. The team has named 20-year-old left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma as her replacement, signing her for Rs 30 lakh. Vaishnavi, who was part of India's ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup-winning squad in 2025, has played five T20Is for India, taking five wickets. Mumbai Indians currently hold the second spot on the points table with three league games remaining.
