Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have appointed former England wicketkeeper James Foster as their fielding coach ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Foster, who has played internationally and coached in various T20 leagues including the IPL, PSL, and The Hundred, will join CSK's established support staff led by head coach Stephen Fleming. This move aims to improve CSK's fielding after a poor 2025 season. CEO Kasi Viswanathan expressed optimism about Foster's addition, while the team continues pre-season preparations with key players like MS Dhoni present.
