San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is highly unlikely to play against the Chicago Bears due to a sprained ankle, missing his second consecutive game after also being sidelined with a hamstring issue earlier in the season. Kittle did not practice all week. In his absence, Jake Tonges is expected to handle the majority of the tight end workload. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, however, is expected to play after improving throughout the week.
