India captain Shubman Gill reached 1,000 Test runs as skipper in just 351 days, becoming the fastest Indian to do so and breaking Sachin Tendulkar's previous record of 405 days. Achieving this milestone in his 15th innings, Gill is the second-fastest Indian captain after Sunil Gavaskar.
