India cricket captain Shubman Gill has been using a personal water purifier, reportedly costing around Rs 3 lakh, as part of his routine hydration practice since recovering from dengue. This practice is unrelated to the recent water contamination crisis in Indore, which caused multiple deaths due to sewage leakage in the city's water supply. Gill installed the purifier in his hotel room during the third ODI against New Zealand, while the outbreak led to widespread illness and hospitalizations in the local population.
