The conflict intensified after BCB director Najmul Islam criticized national players, leading to a boycott of Bangladesh Premier League matches. While players remain committed to the upcoming T20 World Cup, concerns over safety have prompted requests to relocate league fixtures. Mithun emphasized his defense of players' rights without opposing the country.
