RCB to Play Five Home Matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2026 Season

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play five of their home matches at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the IPL 2026 season, marking the venue's return after a fatal stampede in June 2025 that led to a temporary ban. The remaining two home games will be held at Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. The Karnataka government and cricket authorities granted clearance following safety upgrades and adherence to recommendations from the Justice John Michael D'Cunha commission. The stadium will also host the IPL 2026 opening ceremony, playoffs, and final, highlighting Bengaluru's central role in the tournament.
