The Indian Navy's engineless sailing vessel, INSV Kaundinya, has embarked on its maiden overseas voyage from Porbandar, Gujarat, to Muscat, Oman. Constructed using traditional stitched shipbuilding techniques, the vessel aims to revive and celebrate India's ancient maritime heritage. The expedition retraces historical trade and cultural routes, reinforcing bilateral relations and shared maritime history between India and Oman.
