Australian Test captain Pat Cummins and fast bowler Josh Hazlewood are reportedly in line to be included in the provisional squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Both players are currently recovering from injuries. Cummins opted out of the remainder of the Ashes series to manage his back, with scans to determine his availability for the T20 tournament. All-rounder Tim David is also expected to be available.
