In Round 4 of the All India Chess Masters Season 4 at Mumbai Chess Centre, Manya Balani (1653) upset higher-rated AGM Rajveer Nahar (1801) with black pieces, winning in 35 moves after a sharp opposite-side castling battle. Top seed Shreyansh Somaiya (1973) and Reyaansh Venkat (1906) also secured wins, while Aryan Sista (1658) and Kush Ajay Agarwal (1835) drew. Other notable victories included Dhruv Muthe, Om Nilesh Deorukhakar, Janhavi Soneji, Ekaansh Sharma, and Shardul Kadam Aditya.
