Bhuvneshwar Kumar Becomes First Indian to Take 25 IPL Wickets for Multiple Teams
Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the first Indian bowler to take 25 wickets in an IPL season for more than one franchise, achieving this milestone during IPL 2026 while playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. On May 26, in Qualifier 1 against Gujarat Titans, he reached 25 wickets by dismissing captain Shubman Gill. Previously, he took 26 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2017 season. He is also the third bowler overall to achieve 25 wickets in multiple IPL seasons.
