Fernando Martí, coach of Valencia CF Femenino B, and three of his children died in a tragic boat accident in Indonesia near Komodo National Park. The tour boat, carrying 11 people, reportedly sank due to engine failure. Martí's wife and one daughter were among the survivors rescued by Indonesian authorities. Martí, a former player, was 44 years old. Valencia CF expressed deep condolences to the family and colleagues.
