BCCI Issues Practice Session Guidelines for IPL 2026 to Protect Pitch Quality

Ahead of IPL 2026, the BCCI has issued detailed guidelines for all ten franchises to ensure fair and consistent practice conditions. Teams must use fresh practice pitches and separate nets, avoiding reuse of surfaces used by opponents during training sessions. Practice matches are limited to two per team with prior approval, must not exceed three and a half hours under lights, and are prohibited on the main square four days before a team's first home game.
