Deandra Dottin became the first West Indies cricketer to be dismissed for obstructing the field during the second ODI against Sri Lanka in Grenada. The rare dismissal occurred when Dottin struck the ball with her bat and caught it with her hand not holding the bat, leading to an appeal upheld by umpires. She scored 13 runs before dismissal, and West Indies lost the match by 14 runs. Dottin is the sixth woman and 22nd international player to be given out this way.
