India to Play Two-Test Series in Sri Lanka from August as Part of WTC Cycle
India will tour Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series from August 15 to 27, with games scheduled at Galle and Colombo as part of the 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle. Led by captain Shubman Gill, India currently ranks fifth in the WTC standings, while Sri Lanka is sixth. This series marks India's first Test tour of Sri Lanka since 2017 and follows a recent home series loss to South Africa. The matches will test India's batting against Sri Lanka's spin attack in familiar conditions.
