Manchester United's Jack Fletcher Suspended Six Matches for Homophobic Language

Manchester United midfielder Jack Fletcher, 18, has been suspended for six games and fined for using homophobic language during an EFL Trophy match against Barnsley in October. Fletcher admitted to the Football Association that he used a discriminatory term in a heated moment, apologized, and is participating in an educational program. The club has worked with him to improve his understanding of discriminatory language. Three games of the suspension have been served so far.
