
South African pacer Lungi Ngidi became the country's leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals by surpassing Tabraiz Shamsi's record during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Super Eight match against Zimbabwe in Delhi. Ngidi reached 90 wickets in 63 matches, overtaking Shamsi's 89 wickets in 70 games. In the tournament, Ngidi has taken 12 wickets, second only to Shadley van Schalkwyk. South Africa aims to top their group and face New Zealand in the semifinals.
