Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the foundation stone laying ceremony for a High Performance Centre (HPC) at the Sports Authority of India's Netaji Subhas Southern Centre in Bengaluru. The Rs 75 crore project, with Rs 60 crore in CSR support from HAL, aims to enhance elite athlete preparation by integrating world-class sports science and support services, including advanced facilities for medicine, conditioning, and recovery, fostering a podium-focused approach to sports.
