Stage 1 of Pune Grand Tour Paused After Multi-Cyclist Crash, Race Resumes

Stage 1 of the Pune Grand Tour cycling race was temporarily halted after a crash involving around 30 cyclists near Kolvan village within the first hour. The race was neutralised to allow medical teams to assist injured riders and clear the road. Three cyclists withdrew due to injuries, while others sustained minor scrapes. Officials and riders noted such incidents are common in fast-paced races on narrow roads. The race resumed after safety checks and bike repairs, with most participants continuing.
