Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra experienced a mixed 2025 season. He achieved a significant milestone by crossing the 90-meter mark for the first time with a throw of 90.23m at the Doha Diamond League, setting a new national record. Chopra also won the Neeraj Chopra Classic and started his season with a victory in South Africa. However, his impressive 33-event podium streak concluded at the Tokyo World Athletics Championships, where he finished eighth, marking his first event without a top-two finish in 26 competitions.
