On February 27, several horses including Radiant Crown, Mescalito, Republican Star, Mystical Air, Cellini, Victory Flair, and Silver Strike were exercised at the racecourse. Performances varied across distances on inner and outer sand tracks, with some horses showing ease and fluency while others were urged or pressed. Notable efforts included Radiant Crown and Mystical Air finishing ahead in their trials, and Alpha Strike making a strong finish over 1200m. A mock race was also noted on February 26.
