The opening day of the PGTI's 72 The League at Classic Golf Country Club saw strong performances from Mumbai Aces and Rajasthan Regals. Mumbai Aces' 16-year-old Kartik Singh impressed by halving a singles match against American Jhared Hack of Nava Raipur. Rajasthan Regals remained unbeaten against Kolkata Classics, winning singles and foursomes matches and drawing a foursomes tie. Some matches were paused due to fading light, with the second round scheduled at Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Noida.
