India's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has established a high-level Task Force, chaired by Abhinav Bindra, to reform sports governance and professionalize administrators. The task force's report recommends creating the National Council for Sports Education Capacity Building (NCSECB) as an autonomous body under the Ministry to accredit training. This initiative aims to enhance athlete development, high-performance systems, and international competitiveness, aligning with national sporting ambitions and the vision for the 2036 Olympics by improving governance structures across sports bodies.
