Manipur BJP MLA Yumnam Khemchand Singh has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian to be awarded a 5th Dan Black Belt in Traditional Taekwondo by the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation (GTTF). The recognition, approved by senior Taekwondo Grand Masters, acknowledges his extensive contributions to the martial art. Singh, who began practicing at 16 and founded the All Assam Taekwondo Association, also received recognition from the Sangrok World Taekwondo Academy for popularizing the sport in India.
